In 2006, 23 Junior High students from Southeast Missouri raised money to tour Washington, D.C. Sponsored by Mission Missouri and led by Social Studies teacher, Mrs. Molly Noe, the students spent four days and three nights visiting sights such as the Capitol, Ford's Theatre, Arlington, Alexandria, all the monuments and several museums. Upon returning the students came together with their parents and discussed the trip and the impact it had on each of them.
