PARENTS WHO CARE HOUSE

The Parents Who Care House was created to show parents the many places, in their own home, teens can obtain prescription and OTC drugs. Today, tees abuse prescription drugs more than any other illicit drug, other than marijuana. Worse, 70% of teens state they obtain these drugs from their home or their grandparents' home.

The Parents Who Care House will be on display March 19-21. In addition to taking a tour of the Parents Who Care House, Mission Missouri invites community members to participate in our First Annual Prescription Take Back Event. This event allows members of the community to bring their old or unused prescription drugs to law enforcement professionals at the Parents Who Care House so they may be disposed of properly.

We hope you will stop by and take the opportunity to step outside of your home and in ours (and learn the many ways to protect your teen against the dangers of prescription and OTC drug abuse).
