BETTER FATHERS FOR LIFE

This program was for non-custodial fathers in the six counties of Scott, New Madrid, Mississippi, Dunklin, Stoddard, and Pemiscot.  One week training included such things as substance abuse, job readiness, anger management, financial management, and child support as well as better fathering.  The emphasis was on employment and was funded through the Workforce Investment Board and Parents' Fair Share in 2006. This highly successful program was directed by Mark Bartlett and assisted by Stephanie Fisher and Kathy Hinton-Lake.
